Big Catch Up Due!
It’s been a while and so many great things have happened since my last post in September 2024. My teaching continues and actually expanded in the Fall and Spring. Instructing students towards growth in facility with their instruments, music appreciation and theory is rewarding and exciting to take part in.
The Errors Tour with Britney’s Peers in Spain and Portugal was a blast and I can’t wait to go back! Since then, gigs, performances of many kinds, jams, and recording has kept me away from posting here. So to name a few:
I performed with Richard Howell and Sudden Changes which is always a deeply connected time performing with seasoned masters at their craft! At Oaktown Jazz Workshops we celebrated milestone 30 Years of jazz education at Yoshi’s! I’ve performed with Lunchbox, a fun time. Several gigs at John’s Grill is always a great evening of standards. Performing for KCSM Jazz Appreciation Day was filled with sharing music and culture. Can’t forget playing Sales Force Park, The Dawn Club, Four Star, Oakland Museum, and Sunday night jams at Madrone.
