Max Ehrhardt is a Oakland based trumpet player and educator dedicated to spreading music and creativity into the Bay-Area community. Growing up in programs like Oaktown Jazz Workshops and earning his undergraduate degree at the University of the Pacific under the instruction of Joe Mazzaferro, Max has accumulated a wealth of musical experience spanning multiple genres and styles.

Drawing influence from Hard Bop players such as Lee Morgan, Blue Mitchell, and Freddie Hubbard as well as Funk and Soul artists like Bill Withers and Earth, Wind, and Fire, Max shares his love of many different styles and genres of music.

One of Max’s projects is the creation of The Lakeshore Collective which represents the growing and inclusive community of Bay Area musicians. As an ever changing ensemble of artists and band members, they showcase the unique talents and collaborative personalities of all Bay-Area musicians.

Steeped in history, Dawn Club is a gorgeous Downtown San Francisco gathering place where guests can experience delightful cocktails, the finest of whiskies & spirits, lively, boisterous, invigorating music, and a superior level of service. Providing an outstanding hospitality experience is central to our intention and purpose here at the Dawn Club. Our art deco inspired atmosphere serves to complement that intention with its very own eclectic personality and style.

Live music, rooted in jazz, will be offered each night, usually commencing after 8pm. The bands performing at the Dawn Club will primarily be locally based, San Francisco Bay Area jazz performers, some of the most accomplished in the Country. We have a thriving jazz scene here around The Bay, and it is certainly having a moment.

Reservations are NOT required to visit the Dawn Club, so come on by at your convenience. For guests inclined to experience our full tableside service, we encourage the making of reservations in advance. We offer table service of the finest drinks, but we do not serve food.
