From 1970-83, this historic venue hosted amazing performers such as Freddie Hubbard, Bobby Hutcherson, Cedar Walton, Joe Henderson, The Timeless All-Stars, Red Garland, Sonny Stitt, and Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. This all star bay area based ensemble is composed of both emerging musicians and veterans of the original Keystone Korner scene. Trumpeter Max Ehrhardt and vibraphonist Gus Hurteau lead the band with arrangements and compositions from numerous live albums recorded at Keystone Korner, this is one ensemble you will not want to miss!

'Tis the Holiday Season

This time of year it’s been seasonally busy, with private gigs, events, and closing the year at Marsh, and Madrone. Add fun times performing with Magilo. It’s been a good year; there have been uplifting performances amidst the dark concerning times. I continue to be moved by the phenomenon that music is a powerful instrument that continues to bring us together, and I have witnessed the human spirit be uplifted and strengthened by gathering in community. The experiences of sharing time together in music and in community is healing. Please keep coming out, support live music, gather in purpose with heart, focus on what is most important - love, and kindness - and we’re sure to transcend while embracing anew.
