Maximilian K. Ehrhardt is a trumpet player and educator from Oakland, CA. Having graduated University of the Pacific in Jazz Performance under Joe Mazzaferro, Max brings hard bop influences of Lee Morgan, Blue Mitchell, and Freddie Hubbard to his ongoing jam participation at Madrone, Marsh, Jupiter, and Honor, regularly sitting in with emerging and established jazz scene performers. He’s been honored to perform with esteemed artists such as Ambrose Akinsmuire, Sean Jones, Marquis Hill, Mike Olmos, Richard Howell, Jon Santos, Gary Brown, Frank Martin, Deszon Claiborne, and Ravi Abcarian, in such respected venues as Yoshi’s, Mr. Tipples, the Paramount, Fox Theatre, the Monterey Jazz Festival, KCSM’s Jazz On The Hill, and the Noise Pop Festival.
